And just like that

And just like that, they were gone. Our friends Steve and Rena got on a panga at 6:30 this morning and headed back to Panama City to finish their vacation before heading home. We know they had a good time while they were here but after 9 nights on a boat, 2 without a head, I'm sure they were glad to be on their way. Ironically our friends and travel buddy's for the past year pulled up Anchor 15 minutes later and headed off to Continue their trip. After traveling more than 6000 miles together Becky and I decided to slow down and spend six months in the San Blas Islands. Jim and Connie on S/V Sound Effect have been looking forward to Belize and want to spend time exploring the Western Caribbean. Are hope is we meet up again in Mexico or the Florida Keys and travel the inner coastal waterway together next spring. We love you guys and hope the best for you in your travels. Kokomo is anchored in the Lemmon Cays. There is a mooring field here and we have arranged to leave Kokomo on a mooring ball for 4 or 5 weeks in March so we can head home to visit family and friends. While this is a long time from now just having a plan to go home is exciting for us.
Steve and Rena, thanks for visiting these past ten days were great and you are welcome back any time.
Jim and Connie, thanks for the year, it was great and we will never forget it
Life is good on Kokomo, a little sad this morning, but good.
