Gilligan's Island

Yesterday Becky and I were enjoying lunch on the deck of Kokomo, I was wearing my Panama hat without the black band. Becky told me I looked like Gilligan, I said, "that bags the question, are you Ginger or Mary Anne? without missing a beat she claimed she was Mrs. Howell". Now one has to ask, did Gilligan and Mrs. Howell ever do it? I guess anything is possible on our own "Gilligan's Island". Speaking of my Panama hat, when you buy a Panama hat it comes rolled up. When you unroll it, it's ready to wear. I brought mine to Tacoma to wear around, but when I unrolled it, there were lot's of wrinkles and it would not hold its's shape. I was frustrated that my hat was faulty. I rolled it into a ball and shoved it into the bottom of my backpack. When we got back to the boat, I unpacked my hat and threw it in the cockpit of the boat. It unrolled itself and was good as new. It must be called a Panama Hat for a reason.
Life is good on Kokomo
