We didn't go far from the boat and found a new sand spit. We burned garbage and Denny got a hold of the camera. Never know what Denny's up to when he has the camera! Below is his video.

There is a new family on this island now since we were back in Tacoma. We went and introduced ourselves and brought cookies and a beach ball for the children. I counted 5 kids. Not sure the littlest one knew what to do with the ball, so I kicked it to him and he kicked it back. I think he got the idea.

Medical help
For the past 4 weeks I have had a pain in my right shoulder, It moves around sometimes giving me a stiff neck and sometimes a sharp pain right at the shoulder joint. But mostly there is a dull pain in the upper part of my arm. I feel like it's a sore mussel but it won't go away. Any ideas from my faithful followers? Sore shoulders make it hard to swim, not so good if you live on a boat. I'm off to the big city to re-supply the boat. Shopping for food takes 36 hours. Were hopping this t rip keeps us supplied for 2 months.

For the 1st time since October we paid to park the boat. Six weeks moorage, $200. We also decided to fill up the boat. Fuel $278.50. We had food, $97, booze, $60, internet, $27, shopping, $30, river tour, $40 and drinks at the bar, $29. Total for the month $761.50. Not to bad for a boat that went to 13 different anchorages during the month. Today we are moving the boat to the West Lemons and I will be going to Panama to provision. While I'm gone Becky will be getting alone time on the boat.

It's the last day of April. The wind is blowing 10 knots or less and the sun is shinning. This means it's hot. Fun in the day as you can swim but at night we are sweaty hot. We run the fan but still sometime in the middle of the night I must get up and sit outside to cool down. The good news is I like it. Two years ago we thought cold would be better than hot but now we like hot over cold. Most boats leave to go to their home country for summer. That means the anchorages will be empty for Kokomo and paradise wont be so crowded. While writing this blog a canoe full of Kuna fisherman came by the boat and asked for water. I gave them a gallon and they were on their way. They told me they would bring back fish later, will see.

This morning I asked Becky to swim to the sand spit next to our boat when we got back I measured the swim with my gps. We swam just over ½ mile. I would love to tell you how easy it was to do because of the great shape were in but that would be a lie. I told Becky it would seam easier tomorrow. She said that's true as she wasn't doing it again. For the afternoon we explored several Islands we had never been to before. It is a holiday weekend in Panama so several islands have tents on them as hundreds of people from the city have chosen here to vacation. The Kuna are no different than anyone else. It cost $2 to go on land when it's busy. I'm sure by next week all the beached will be free again.
