One evening while we were watching the sunset in Western Coco Banderos, we saw in the distance Miramore which is a junk rig boat. Denny explains this boat in the video below.

During our stay in Western Coco Banderos, we were very entertained by a family that was next to us in the anchorage. This was a family from France and they rented a 40' catamaran for a year. They have two girls 7 and 9 years old. They home school on the boat and after school in the afternoon each day the parents would take each of the girl's water skiing. They have a dinghy that's 9 feet with a Yamaha 15 hp. The water skies were attached together. They both were able to pop right up. Very cute!

This was a new anchorage for us and what a treat it was for us! This small island we were near had reefs all around it. We would swim from our boat and snorkel around this island. Near the backside of the island was a boat that hit the reef and sunk. There were many beautiful reef fish all around.

After a beautiful sunny day, we had the most amazing sunset. Below is a video of where we are anchored and the sunset. No green flash this time.
In this anchorage we watched some Kuna kids sail by in their yula.

We have had some amazing beautiful days. On this particular day there were hardly any clouds and the solar panels were working very nicely. We don't need to turn on the generator or start the motor to charge the batteries for several days when the sun is shinning hard.

We are in the planning stages of crossing the Atlantic. This will take some time to plot our course and figure out when the right time to do this. The above photo is a picture I took while Denny is working on this. Yes, he has a small globe while reading Jimmy Cornell's book World Cruising Routes. Denny never ceases to amaze me!
