The fine town of Annapolis has grown into a Mecca of boating. Every inch of beach has a marina on it, the water ways are tight and traffic on the water is dense. That being said it is ok to anchor your boat anyplace their is room. For my Tacoma friends that means in the Foss water way center channel right in front of the glass museum. Also all streets that end at the water are public and have cleats For dinghy's to tie up to. This is great for Kokomo but not so great for people trying to dock their boats on a crowded holiday. One of the pluses I have enjoyed are watching all the boats that pass close by on their way to the bay or coming back. It's fun to see how each captain handles the busy channel. Kokomo plans on being here one more week then heading north to colder water and big tides. Our ultimate goal for the summer in to reach Maine. Then Kokomo will have visited every ocean front state but Alaska, but will get there to.
Life is good on Kokomo
