We have been fogged in for the past two days, Kokomo tries to stay putt in the fog as lobster buoys are hard to see. We decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner and went to the fish market to find so cod for a fish dinner. Never has it been more apparent that we are in Maine than shopping in a fish market. Halibut $16.95 lbs. live lobster $3.30 lbs. We have been buying lobster directly from the lobster boats the past week paying as little as $2.55 per lbs. So we splurged and bought 3/4 lb halibut. for $11. Tomorrow we are back to the regular lobster meal we can afford. You have to love Maine. The sun came out this afternoon and we are all smiles as we plan to head to a new anchoragein the morning. Cross your fingers and hope or no fog.
