We are spending a couple days here to catch up on sleep and finish up projects. Denny has been very productive! Installing the new electric winch buttons, installing the new AIS B, fixing the hose near the engine that's touching the muffler exhaust and the leak under the sink - no Paul, Denny didn't have to take the counter top off :)
I've been busy myself vacuum sealing and cutting up meat and vegetables. Our frig & freezer are packed!
We did manage to take a few breaks, when I did I saw this guy on some kind of contraption that shoots water and makes you fly up. You have a jet ski and a hose which powers the water. Then there is a jet backpack which connects the power and the hose, and then there are special shoes you wear which the water shoots out of. The cost for 30 minutes is $180. Yes you are thinking what I am, Denny wants to try this!
We leave in the morning for the Bahamas. No more video or photos because we won't have internet, but we'll post daily.
After ten years of planning a trip around the world, we have given up our life on land to head to bluer pastures with the hopes of staying young as long as possible. Our mission is to have fun while moving about the earth. [...]When we finally return to dry land for good, we hope to have seen most of the worlds shore line and experienced things that can only be experienced at 5 knots Of course if we find a place we like and stay there for an extended time, that's ok too.
We have two boys and two grandson's and several friends and family of all ages. Our hope is that those we know will decide to spend some time with us. Life is enjoyed most when you share it with those your closest to.
