St Marin is an island that belongs to two different countries. The north half is French and the south is Dutch. The two sides both have different attractions. The popular bays you can anchor in are Marigot on the French side and Simpson bay on the Dutch side. They are about three miles apart as the crow flies over land or should I say a land locked lagoon you can enter from either bay threw a set of canals. We are anchored in Marigot bay. To get to the marine stores in Simpson bay you must take the dinghy threw a canal then cross the lagoon to Simpson bay. Yesterday we made the trip twice. That means we took the dinghy from France to the Netherlands twice in one day, at least their territories. Well it sounds good. Were checking out today and headed to St Kitts and Nevis. Lots of islands to explore on the way so we will make small day trips along the way.
