We are still anchored right next to the Limestone Resort. We talked with Silva, the owner, and asked if we could rent the car for a couple hours to check out. She said not a problem, no charge, just put gas in it. Perfect. So we headed to immigration and we found a new lady that checked us out with no problems. Next stop was the last minute groceries, then fill out our propane tank and gasoline, back within 2 hours.
The one thing I have noticed in Curacao is the many types of cars. Some of them we have never heard of. Also the paint color of homes, the are very bright and well manicured. Security around here is tight. Although we haven't had any problems, but you see bars on windows, many security guards and gates. The one thing on the car we borrowed that we were told to use was a steering wheel lock.
Now it looks like we will leave on Friday afternoon for a 3 night passage to Columbia.
