The wind was just right in the morning, so we packed up the boat for a sail. Denny went to start the motor and...... nothing! The motor wouldn't start - great, just what our friends want. So Denny started going through the motor eliminating things that it could be. He went over to a friend's boat to borrow a volt meter and he got some advice. He kept tearing things apart, when finally he said to me.... (I'm thinking don't tell me the counter top needs to be taken off), he says, "Becky, I need to take the counter top off".
Here he has taken apart the whole galley
What the problem was is the wire that goes to the starter was disconnected. We are so happy it was a problem solved that cost no money!
While Denny was putting the galley back together, Mary and I went snorkeling. By the time we got back the boat was put back together.
Later in the day, another master mola maker - Venancio came by the boat. He really does beautiful work. Mary bought a few and I got one more.
For happy hour we went to Banadup.
Here Roger and Denny are bellying up to the bar and ordered some drinks.
On Banadup they have huts that you can rent and stay in.
This is what the inside of a hut looks like
After getting the motor started, we celebrated!
Life is good on Kokomo!
