29 January 2015 | Elefante in the W. Lemmons
Rob on Southern Comfort has set lots of flags for the Australian Day. It was at Elefante in the West Lemmon Keys where a few people went boat to boat all around the area inviting cruisers to come and enjoy the Australian's for a day. There was a group of people who hired a panga to bring them from East Lemmons to the party. The Australian's shared what they have for lunch everyday. It was a meat pie with tomato sauce on the top. It was delicious. One of the cruisers just came back from Panama City and brought back ice cream cones. I couldn't believe my eyes - ice cream in Kuna Yala! I had a cone and that made my day!
We made new friends and got caught up with old friends we hadn't seen in two years. This photo is of Steve (s/v Better Days), myself, Eddie (s/v Panda) and Denny.
The next day was a swap meet. In this photo, I'm in the chair drinking a beer, can you tell I was so excited to be there!
Well, we did make some money, we came in with $25 and after a few beers and a new sun shower, we left with $30. Not to shabby!
