We left early in the morning for a river tour. We went with Deb and her family. There were 10 of us all together.

Our guide helped Rose get up to the waterfall


So glad we made the effort to get to the waterfall, it was beautiful!


After the waterfall we continued up river, it really was a fast flowing river



We arrive to be greeted by the Embera Drua Indians


Some of the women have a tatoo on their face, but this is not permanent

Simular to the Guna Kala Indians, they are very small/short people

The children were adorable!


We had a delicious lunch of fish, plantain and fruit


The women have coins on their tops


After lunch they put on a dancing show with music



Denny & I had a good time dancing!


After a fun day on the water, we went to Old Panama for some shopping. Rose and I got a beautiful new outfit! For dinner we went to the fish market and had fish tacos - yum!

We leave in the morning for the boat with all our groceries for two months, thanks Randy & Rose for helping us move all our items!
