Don't think Wayne slept all night. But, the mechanic was here before 9 am and is working on it as I type. Once we get back on the river we'll be going by Tarrytown also known by the famed name of Sleepy Hollow. According to the author (Washing Irving - the Legend of Sleepy Hollow) the name is derived from Dutch wives complaining references to their husbands spending too much time at the village tavern. I'd say with certainty we're not going to make the SSCA Gam this weekend. Looks like we'll have to go to the Melbourne Gam this December.

11:30am and the throttle now works (yay!!!). I learned where the throttle screw is for adjusting the idle speed. Turn the nut first then the bolt in or out to speed up or slow down. I told the mechanic we were going to keep him (he didn't know if he could get back out of the engine compartment) and he said "okay - I have to make one phone call home to the wife to tell her I won't be home for dinner" LOL I liked him - very personable fella - raced motorcycles, has a new crotch rocket, and a rabbit that's very smart.
