We Be Belizin'
04/16/2007

The best laid plans of mice and men... Our sail to Belize became a Major Roadtrip when our Volvo Penta engine developed a leaky cylinder. The saga of how to repair an engine in Guatemala, where parts and mechanics can be scarce, plus our wonderful trip to Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye with Signe of California and Alfred of Washington can be found in the April 2007 issue of Telltales Magazine! Tennessee River Run
12/02/2006

In 1540, explorer Hernando DeSoto's expedition followed the Tennessee River to what is now Guntersville, Alabama. But Joe and I were not out for rest and relaxation, we were out to whoop it up on the River, joining other boaters in a boisterous poker run! This story appears in the December 2006 issue of Telltales Magazine. For more information, email jkratz@peoplepc.com
