Nikki arrived in Nassau ...

... right on schedule! Her day started out with a little excitement. She overslept when her alarm failed to go off and friends who she was riding to the airport with woke her when they called to say they were on their way and would be there in 10 minutes. Then the airline people gave her a hard time about her itinerary since she is flying back to VT in April from Ft. Lauderdale instead of Nassau. I am sure a flag goes up as a security issue since they don't get how she would return to the USA. Can you imagine? Nikki a security risk! But they finally let her through and all went as planned from that point.

We will be pulling out of the marina today at noon after doing a bit more laundry, run to the grocery store, and whatever we can think of. We are going to a place called Potter Cay, which is a small island/peninsula in the harbor where locals come in with the catch of the day, and mail boats arrive with fresh fruits and veggies. The resort/casino/aquarium called Atlantis I mentioned before is on our list of places to see tomorrow, and then if the weather cooperates, we will head south Tuesday.

That's it for now. Will write before we leave Nassau as it may be a while after that before we have Internet access again.
