Yesterday was mostly spent frivolously; drinking coffee and having French toast for breakfast (with yummy bread made by Lorraine's mama) lounging around the boat, readying, taking the boys to the beach for a run...then project hound syndrome kicked in and we felt compelled to do something productive...god forbid we might allow ourselves to loaf! Randy dug out his gear and did a few small projects and I did some puttering around as well. After that, we felt justified in sitting down to watch the water and enjoy a rum punch! We also went over to Sol Surfin' last night as Gary and Celeste have connected with some pretty talented musicians...we get invited along to be an appreciative audience...and appreciative we are...what a nice way to spend an evening...I haven't missed "Dancing With the Stars" or the "Biggest Loser" or all the lousy news of the word at all...in fact, most of the time, I don't know what day it is...Randy says that that officially makes me a cruiser!
Today, we moved across the harbor because we need to get water, do laundry, etc and this anchorage is closer to town...we might stay here if the winds shift as predicted, or go back across to Stocking island where were...hopefully, no one scoops up out sweet spot...I'm putting out my good travel karma...for us and for Kristin and Dan who will join us tomorrow!
