A short note tonight and more tomorrow: We left Atlantic City at 0600 this morning and 13 hours and 80 nm later arrived here at Sandy Hook. A very beautiful day, with most of it spent motor/sailing, but we did have about 3 hours of pure sailing with sunshine, calm seas, and warm weather that was priceless. Wasn't a late night last night and we did not win our fortune as expected, so we got the hell out of there before we went back and lost more ... That is always a fun place to stop, but a little goes a long way. We expect to be here through tomorrow night and will then head up to Liberty State Park (Statue of Liberty) Wednesday. We can see the Verazanno Narrows Bridge from here. Close ...
