About me:
I'm Kyle, traveler, outdoorsman, looking to get more sailing experience.
Experience: 9 months of sailing lasers, FJs, and hobycats. Have passed the basic certifications showing that I know the variety of vocabulary around the boats and general safety procedures, man overboard and capsize drills. I feel in love with sailing quite quickly and want to move up to the next level, crewing/blue water.
I lived in Bogota, Colombia for 14 months where I learned Spanish, taught English, volunteered, and had tons of random adventures (motorcycling out in the country, swimming in the amazon, salsa dancing til 8 am).
I can cook a decent amount of meals, can follow recipes, and know how to do my fair share of cleaning. I really just want to get my foot in the door with sailing.
Time Frame: Will be free starting December 23rd and hoping to head down to California, Florida, or Mexico around then. I'm open to sailing wherever, as long as we get along and I feel like we have the right equipment and knowledge in case of emergencies.
