This is our first official blog entry, although as we get the hang of this, we shall post our route and adventures for the past three months in the Eastern Caribbean.
We are actually in Tyrell Bay, Carriacou, tonight having made a dash down to a sail loft called In Stitches, who made an emergency repair to one of our sails. This morning leaving PSV - where we are standing in on day charters for our good friend Jeff Stevens and his beautiful traditional sloop "Beauty of Petite Martinique" - was a little traumatic to say the least ! Our plans of sailing off anchor were scuppered when we saw daylight through a large 3' rip in our mainsail...
More news to come over the next few days & weeks, some notes and images from the amazing islands of the Eastern Caribbean, to give a flavour of the West Indies that we are so fortunate to be sharing.
These are the voyages of the sailboat Lady Liv, her Captain Bob and First Mate "M" ... to boldly go, etc etc
