Gale Warning and we're stuck in Bequia !
After dropping our guests back in St Vincent, Lady Liv heads back to Admiralty Bay where the weather closes in, and we enjoy 30 knots of wind blowing through the Bay, along with a gale warning for the next few days in the area. We are due to collect guests from Grenada, but it looks as though we will need to alter plans. During our time here we meet up with good friends Sue & John who run their beautiful charter yacht "Makayabella" out of Bequia, and enjoy some fun together. We finally head out to Union Island, some 31 miles south, and brave the high seas. Part way, we are passed by Beauty of Petite Martinique skippered as usual by Jeff and romping northwards past us towards Mustique. We anchor amidst the many Starfish littering the sand in Ashton, with only a short hop over to Carriacou to collect our next guests who have opted to come up on the ferry to meet us. We welcome Pepita, Alan, Sam & Misha the following day, onboard to join us along with the boys' two guitars and look forward to some sundowners and serenading - we're off to the Mustique Blues Festival held each year at the World famous Basils Bar !
