rocketing north

We are currently rocketing North. No need for spinnakers in 35 knots plus. A tiny genoa and a very reefed mainsail and we have been averaging about 7.5 knots over the day, often hitting 8 and even 9 knots. For us this is rather scary and fast. The good news is that the wind is behind us which makes it a lot more manageable. However as the day progresses the sea has been getting progressively bumpier. We are planning to stop at Cape Bedford tonight and then head to Lizard Island tomorrow.
