Crossing the Equator

17 October 2011 | South China Sea
michael and jackie
We're finally back in the Northern hemisphere after crossing the equator yesterday morning. Our drains should be draining the opposite direction. The sun should be to the South. Lady Kay has been in the Southern hemisphere for almost four years after crossing to the South off the coast of Equador. We were fortunate this time in being able to anchor four miles North of the Equator at an island called Kentar where we met up with quite a large number of boats for an equator party on the beach.

We are heading North West again today and tomorrow before heading across the very busy shipping channel to Singapore.
