Jim
Lovely little spot. Great dock and a nice location.
The trains can be a bit of a problem --but I wear a cochlea implant so I just turn it off and sleep like a baby!
The ride up today was windy and the river was full of floating logs from last nights wind and rain. I missed all that but Dede says it happened! and the branches in the canal prove it. Locking was a b ut tricky with avoiding the logs, the wall, current and wind. But we did it 5 times today with no lost fingers or toes!
Weather forecast is for more wind and t-showers in the afternoon so we will only make a few locks and a few miles before stopping to visit a little town on the canal
