09/24/2011, Throngs Neck Bridge
The most spectacular vision as we sailed from Long Island Sound to anchor under the Throngs Neck Bridge with NY City skyline beyond!! Have seen this many times via auto but never experienced the serenity from under the bridge, sitting on Lady Lady. "Red skies at night, sailors delight" (I hope as we prepare to enter "Hell Gate" in the East River).
Water pump leaking looking for parts on line. Having computer on board is sure a 'different experience! Jim

Things got a little damp --however the airconditioning/heat do wonders with drying!
