28 September 2017 | 720 Miles East of Durban South Africa
10:00pm Thursday 28th September 2017 ( UTC+3 ) A very comfortable night last night under much reduced sail. So comfortable in fact that hardly any meaningful progress was made. I should of if I would of sort of thing. Mind you the rig was just right as the headwind increased in the mid morning and have been plugging into it till late this evening. As the wind is gradually backing to the South we're easing away and starting to make miles with the hope of some easy going till we near the coast of South Africa. Had a sneak preview of the weather next week and it's looking ...... - well that's too far ahead with the changeable patterns near the Cape of Good Hope but let's say - fingers crossed. See I'm talking about South Africa now. It seemed a long trip across the Indian Ocean but now with Durban less than a week away we're finally getting somewhere.
