This past weekend was the final weekend before the next sailing trip. On Saturday I had new tires installed on the trailer. On Sunday, put oil in the new 6hp dinghy motor, started it up, and broke it in for 10 minutes at idle using my father in law's 50 gallon steel barrel filled with water. Wow, nothing like a brand new outboard. I wasn't sure at first, but it just barely fits into the big locker on deck.
