Styling At The New Bern, NC RV Park

31 May 2008
Keith, hot and humid
We drove a long day from Agusta and made it as planned to New Berg, actually 6 miles outside of New Berg towards Oriental. We drove a country road nearly 100 miles from the main highway to get there. It was so beautiful at a max 55 mph. There were a few challenges along the way, but we made it. The versahaul is only bent slightly in a place you can hardly see. The gas pump may not have fared so well. We had a little fiesta with the neighbors to the right and left last night and then made a nice dinner with the leftover ribs from the night before. I've been much happier since we started hooking up with electric connections as much as possible. That air conditioning and power for everything from computers to tvs is so nice. A leisurely wake-up, clean-up, and pack-up, and we were off to Oriental.

Keith is a 40 something year old Family Law Attorney from Tucson, Arizona who somehow managed to develop a love of sailboat cruising and adventure in spite of growing up in the desert. This blog used to be about how I took breaks from a successful career in law to become a coastal cruising sailor. [...]
Extra: Our sailing life has now come full circle back to San Carlos on the Sea Of Cortez.
