Another Atlantic Beach Accessible Anchorage

11 September 2008 | Peck Lake Anchorage, just north of Palm Beach
nice so far, I've got the screens up just in case
I'm at the last remote anchorage on the ICW that I will be experiencing for a while, if ever. It didn't fail to impress. I'm really just off the channel, but far enough so that no barges will bother me. The land between the ICW and the Atlantic ocean is very thin and we dingied into shore at dusk and walked the path in less than a minute. I'm starting to see some lighter blue in the waters, which is nice, but nothing too impressive yet. The dogs found a coconut and were completely entranced by it, especially Jake. He wanted to rip it apart piece by piece and take it home with him. I finally convinced them to get back into the dingy and we returned to TD, where I made dinner. So far it is nice out and we are not being attacked by mozzies.
