The next morning it was time for sailing trials to make sure the boat was in proper condition to attempt the crossing. I had breakfast at the marina, stored the truck and trailer at the yard, and returned to the sailboat. The weather was nice. Not very much wind, but enough to fill the sails. Everything seemed to work fine.
