Rolly night at Martini Cove
06 November 2013
I decided to spend one more night on the sailboat, this time solo. I went to Martini Cove, but because the wind was coming from the south and the entrance to the cove faces generally southward, I experienced moderate rolling that didn't dissipate over the night. I took the dinghy for a ride in the early evening, but it was too rough and windy by that point to check-out the caves around Punte Double. I had a fitful night's sleep and by the time morning light arrived, I was ready to get out of there and away from that roll. I motored the relatively short distance into San Carlos Marina and right to a slip near the ramp. Safely back to shore from another sailing adventure.
