First all 4 family sailboat adventure

This wasn't the first time I've taken the sailboat to a location and then not gone sailing much, but it was the first time I went someplace with the sailboat and didn't even get the boat into the water. With the two young kids, particularly the four month old boy, we just weren't comfortable taking the chance. There will be other times where we actually get the boat into the water. This was a different kind of experience, together as a family, on the boat, but not yet cruising. We still had a surprisingly good time. I would rather be land cruising with the family beside a lake in central Arizona than by myself anchored at Martini Cove on the Sea of Cortez. However, Sarah says she is open to our first Mexico trip, so this time next year I may be anchoring there with the family after all.
