Early afternoon view from Boker Tov while moored in Avalon
26 July 2014
I enjoyed a beer or two, lunch/dinner ashore, and a nice walk along the water at night, but that was all I wanted without Sarah and the kids. If I'm going to be alone, I'd rather be alone at sea. I was off the next morning before the sun rose and spent a great day cruising in relatively calm conditions to Oceanside. I read for pleasure (something I never get to do), I wrote in the journal, I ate and kept hydrated and just enjoyed the wilderness of the sea. There is a peace out there, without any of the stimulus we are subjected to constantly on shore, that I enjoy immensely.
