San Carlos Sunset From Dock 1st Night
07 June 2015
I arrived relatively early and we were able to get the sailboat in the water well before dark. Until recently I never stayed at a dock. Now I'm fine with it, at least while getting started and at the end of a sailing adventure. It's nice for the protection and convenience to land, but it's too calm. At anchor I can feel the life of the sea, which I appreciate. That involves a lot of rocking at anchor for Boket Tov. A lot more that a 36 foot sailboat I once owned and cruised, but a lot less than many smaller sailboats. I'm just glad I at least have what I have and that I get to go cruising on these small trips as frequently as I do.
