• Marina Real
by Keith, Cozy and Dry in My Blanket
There was a time when I came to this place that I focused on the cruising. I would arrive and it was all about the departure of the sailboat from the marina to the beyond. We haven't actually left the dock. But we have a pretty good time, perhaps a better time dare I say, not cruising. Don't get me wrong, we will cruise, but there's still work to do to get the boat ready. Yesterday we went to two beaches. In the morning we played at the one a short drive from Marina Real that won an award for like the best beach in the world. It's not that great, but it was in a beautiful cove at the foot of the Tetas. The wind was kicking yesterday during the first half of the day and the sun was getting hot. After a few tries we got our beach tent up and that allowed us to stay until lunch. After late afternoon ice cream at a Thrifties, we went to Pilar. The sunset is farther north on the horizon than before. Summer is coming, but not here yet fortunately. Sarah and I are starting to relax and get into the groove. Manuel is supposed.to return at noon today. Possibly done in time for us to anchor out, but I doubt it.
