We left the second hottest city in the country to staycation in the hottest city

by Hot, I'm outside at night writing this. Not humid, though, and no bugs
This was after departing the outlet mall on the far north side of town on the way to Lake Pleasant. There I picked up my other 3 gallon tank and hose. They were dusty and gas vapor release valve hadn't been released so it was all bloated and nasty looking, and he didn't even bring out the hose at first. But by the time we got back to the hotel it was back to normal size and a cleaning will bring it back to new. The old gas will go in the truck and mixes with new. A backup tank for the dinghy isn't that necessary, but I paid $100 for the new one when I left this one on Boker Tov and I didn't want to lose it. Should I ever need it, I'll be glad I did. Otherwise, we had a nice lunch at the old school vietnamise place and dinner at one of Sam's trendy restaurants, finally succombing to the reality of our circumstances. We swam in the morning (thx to Sarah) and in the afternoon (also thx to Sarah), and the kids had a little bit of time to play. The kids were asleep in no time after bath, and so was I.
