Camping Spot at Mt. Lemmon

It's a bit obnoxious for just one person and two dogs to RV in a coach built for a family. I see that people are still camping in tents. Been there, done that. This is better. And with two big dogs, even the 34 foot Bounder doesn't seem too spacious. In fact, it's just right. We've all got our space and it doesn't seem cramped. I could (and very well may) live in it with two golden retrievers for months. Come to think of it, we've probably spent 50 nights in the Bounder already. Jake and Anne pretty much consider it a home.
The new moon was coming up right here just after the sun set and it was so beautiful.
The Arizona Trial is almost complete. I hike this section frequently.

I took the dogs up for an overnight RV adventure to one of my favorite camp sites at Mt. Lemmon. It's about a 1/2 hour drive from the Bounder's storage spot.

I've got a huge trial starting today. The wash is very often the calm before the storm in my present life.
Flying in Tucson
Keith03/03/2008
Driving back from Mt. Lemmon, I happened along this hot air balloon flying low and crossing the way. When the conditions are right, Tucson is a spectacular place to fly. Some of these mornings lately have been making me long for my ultralight days.
