Cheryl's Notes:
We had a nice long leisurely motor from Whitefish Point to Grand Marais today. The wind never got over 5 knots. We pulled into the bay and planned on anchoring. All of the shallow spots have been taken over by local boats on mooring balls. The main part of the bay is over 35 feet deep. That would mean that we would have to put out a lot of chain. We decided to take a spot on the wall for the night. Then hike into town for wifi and stretch our legs. We have to do some planning for the next few days and check weather.
John's Notes:
Not much to add. Except, the bar we are sitting in using wifi was out of almost every appetizer on the menu. Makes for limited choices.
Oh, and we passed another sailor from Bayfield today. They are headed for the North Channel and offered us there slip while they are gone. Gotta love fellow cruisers.
