The lake is inhabited by a flock of black swans. Hence, the name: Swan Lake. Here is one of them.

When we reached Swan Lake, it was actually more of a pond than a lake. It was early evening and the wildlife was coming down to the lake to get drinks of water. You can see one of the Wallabies that has come down for a drink. It is called a White Tipped Wallaby after the white tip of fur on its tail.

Here is another wallaby that we spied as we trekked down the trail.

After enjoying the beach, we next stopped at the Swan Lake and trekked along its nature trail. Along the way we spied a number of wild wallabies in the brush. Here is one of them.
