As we came down the mountain, we broke out of the rain forest and entered the King River gorge.

you can see how orange this river is. It is colored due to the seepage of water coming from the tails of the mine. This is the Queen River, which runs right past the mine up in Queenstown.

This is suppose to be a long and disappointed look on my face. An actor I am not! However, I did not get any gold and now I need to figure out a way to pay for this great trip that we are taking. Any offers of donations????
