At times I had to swat at the fish just like you swat at flies to shoo them away so I could get a clear picture of the coral I wanted to photograph.

All right, now. That was a long enough break from seeing more fish. Thus, let's truck on and see more and more fish.

These blue lipped clams are fully embedded into the coral head.

Oh, all right. This is not a fish. It is a sea cucumber. Lizard Island is famous for it sea cucumbers and giant clams. Mrs. Watson's husband was a sea cucumber "fisherman" and this is why they lived on Lizard Island back in the 1880's. More on Mrs. Watson on the days to come...

You look above you, around you and below you and everywhere you look there are fish, fish, and more fish. We felt like we were in the tank aquarium that was in our doctor's office back in the States!.
