Well here we are in Cascais. Well setup to prepare for the jump off to the Gran Canaries. We slogged through the night in fog and drizzle along the Portuguese coast until just before Cascais. It was cold and dark. Fun for the night watch, plenty to keep you busy. Today we have been engaged in getting things fixed and buying a few things. We are planning on visiting a few castles and cities this week and then leave on next Monday. Wind is forecast but not until then. Since we are an American boat we cannot just plug into the dock for power. It has been a bit exasperating but today i installed a 240V battery charger to help keep the batteries topped without running the generator. Well worth the money.
