There is a stretch of ocean called the doldrums. I really believe we have found it. Like miles and miles of windless sea. Its like time in a bottle and everything has stopped. Please forward the bottle opener. No matter how many times I download the weather files the wind barbs have morphed into little circles with no hint of which way the wind might come. However, tonight we are supposed to receive the answer to our oath to Aeolus in the form of strong winds that will blow us to Africa. We won't reach the trade winds until 15N and we are at 22N or 420 miles in our future. The engines run fine at 2.4l/hr and we only run one at a time to save fuel. We can do 5 knots like this. Other than that we had a fine Thanksgiving meal, thanks to our fine chef and watchkeeper Tania. God love her for keeping everyone happy
