No photo today. The tradewinds blow across the Atlantic and do that at about 15S latitude. We are trying to get there through the doldrums, and now through a contrary wind. The wind is blowing 18 knots from WSW. This means we go a little north or we go south and a little east (wrong way). At the moment we are going south and a little east. This is what you do to go find the right winds. They're not there yet, but the wind gurus that live in my computer via the satellite via some computer model are telling me they will be on Sunday. Imagine.t Today we eat frozen chicken curry on frozen rice courtesy of Tania and Jill. They made these meals before we left port in anticipation of a rough day at sea. Like today. Too rough to boil water, maybe a bit rough to do yoga but certainly tolerable, for some. But we are moving smartly at 6+ knots on a close-hauled course pounding into a 2-3 ft wind chop and I guess by morning a 6-9 foot swell courtesy of a gale blowing somewhere up around the Azores.
