My name is Alexis Cheresnowsky and I'm in the 7th grade. I have a good walk with God and I enjoy spending time with Him. I can't wait to go on the boat to make my relationship stronger. I was chosen to go on this trip because of my walk with God, my leadership, and my grades. Can you tell Luke and Ruth Hi for me and let them know that I am excited to meet them! I look forward to this trip because I have never been to New York and haven't been on a sailboat.

Hi my name is Alyia. I am so excited that I am going on this trip. I feel like we have so much in common. I just want to say Hi to your family and I hope that you are having a good time right now. I was just thinking about what things we are going to do when we are on the boat. I want to learn a lot about leadership because everyone around me is such great leaders and I want to be the best leader possible. God is so great and has shown me many things in my 12 years. One thing that God has shown me is that when I grow up He has given me the gift to become a famous Gospel singer. I also want to be a Supreme Court judge. I feel like when I meet you in person you will help me a lot with my leadership and help me to learn even more about God. Even though all of the people are older than me who are going I feel like I can still reach my goal of helping you on the Liberty Schooner. I got chosen to go on this trip because of my awesome grade and my great desire to serve God with all my heart. I can't wait to see your family there! See you Monday!

Dear Mrs. Sharon,
My name is Kaneya, I'm 15 and am a rising 10th grader. I am very excited on coming on the liberty schooner. I was chosen to go on this trip because I am very devoted in what I do for the team. I help with a little kids step team, help little kids with their homework, and just recently I went to go step in a competition even though I wasn't suppose to because I am allergic to nickel and there is nickel on my jeans when I step.  I believe while I am on the liberty schooner my life will be changed and my confidence will be boosted up. Well it was nice talking to you on the phone and I can't wait to meet you.

Hi Sharon, Phillip, Luke and Ruth. My name is Shawndera. I'm 17 a rising Junior. I was chosen for this trip because have demonstrated exceptional leadership. I was the chosen because I was reading my Word faithfully and leading others in the right direction. What I am expecting on this trip is for me to build my relationship with God and learn more about Him. I'm looking forward to going see the Statue of Liberty, the Toy's R Us, and Time Square at night. I am really looking forward to learning how to sail and I am excited to meet your family.

Hi Sharon, Philip, Luke and Ruth. My name is Trey. I am 13 and I am going into the 8th grade. I was chosen for this trip because I have shown great leadership skills and my grades in school have been very exceptional. I've gotten mostly all A's and just a few B's. What I look forward to see on this trip is a stronger relationship with God and I really hope to learn how to sail the ship.
