Day two on the Bahama banks

After a very peaceful night we were off to Allans-Pensacola Cay. It was a nine hour trip and, as you can see from the photo, the wind was not kind to us. Fine for those going the other way, but on our nose the whole way. No real problem as the seas were probably less than one foot.

In the Bahamas!

After a 3 am departure from Lake Worth we arrived on the Bahama banks at 2 pm. The crossing was benign and once on the banks it was dead flat calm so we kept on chugging to Mangrove Cay. Gin clear water with depths of 6-8 feet. What a wonderful sight.

Oh, by the way

Forgot to download my photos in time to get this one in. This is Tiger's new house from the ICW. Don't think he was home, or at least he didn't hail us to come in for lunch.
