Grinnell / Clear, then stormy
Swans at Port Jefferson
From the Connecticut River we cut across Long Island Sound again for familiar anchorages at Port Jefferson and Oyster Bay. A Nor'easter pinned us in the latter for five days. We passed the time provisioning, cleaning the boat, and visiting our friend Roxy Darling, who spends her summers there running a beautiful wooden boat among a fleet of beautiful wooden boats.
