The last few days were spent in Prickly Bay with Steve doing odds and ends on the boat (oddly, things just stop working or need a tweak here and there) and myself running into town to get the last minute fresh dairy, fruit and veggies and the odd part needed.
I felt so good about how prepared we were, I even casually made a dentist appointment for a teeth cleaning for tomorrow at 10 am. I also made one for Charlie.. 12 noon.
Everything was nicely tucked away and this time I did not repeat the Vero Beach provisioning (buying way too much). We needed a months supply to get through Venezuela before landing in Bonaire and from there, we would re-provision in Curacao. Of course I couldn't help myself. I bought some supplies that would last for our trip to the San Blas Islands of Panama and some bags of chips and candy that was on sale.
As I tucked money away in different hiding spots I was oddly excited. . . here we were. . heading into pirate country. . . hiding money. . . What on earth was I excited about?..LOL We just needed one more load of laundry and a last minute, duty free liquor run. All seemed good!
