It was not even planned, but we were all eating dinner when we realized that it was exactly 2 years ago when we first met in Tobermory. Lion's Paw and Blue Blazes reunited!

Awe, I think I’m going to have to have a cry!! I loved that cottage (no matter how small I was). Love the makeover – the red looks great! So glad that you guys are getting nostalgic! Have a good trip and keep writing about it – some of us are not home to visit :(

After our way too short visit in Nobel :(, Steve and I decided to veer of the Hwy and canoe out past our first love.. COTTAGE LIFE!
Then known as Colquhoun's Point, our first land purchase ~ 6 acres - 1400ft waterfront, situated on the long arm of Otter Lake, just south of Parry Sound. . . to our parents chagrin, we purchased this property before we owned a home.
We can never thank the new owners enough for our tour of the property and the cottage that we built. It was a wonderful finale to our weekend!

Going East

It only took us 3 days and 5 arrivals to finally land at Pearson International, using our aeroplan miles and we arrived tired but safe. After a week in the GTA area moving back and forth from Mississauga and Burlington (marking off some of our "to do list") we travelled east to begin a whirl wind tour of our beautiful province of Ontario. It is summer here and cottage country is in full swing. So after stoppng in Ajax and Uxbridge (to visit with friends) we headed to Bobcaygeon to visit Steve's dad.

Hamburger Beans and Purse Necklaces

Thanks to Michele s/v "Reach" who gave me my bead necklace and taught me how to make them; all of my nieces and nephews received a hamburger or purse bead necklace. What handsome 15 year old boy wouldn't like to show off his necklace hugging two beautiful cousins like this..

Loving Home

I just spent the evening checking up on my other friends blogs (most south of 12N), only to discover that their blogs had not changed...except for Arita whom it seems have bought a mega yacht. . Wow! I can only say that I hope they are having as much fun as I am. I've been here for 9 days and time is flying by as usual. We've rented a car and have started our trek throughout Ontario. Yes this would be the time to change the locks... we are coming your way. See you soon!
