St. Patti's Day -Bluefield Range, Belize
17 March 2015
St. Patrick's Day (Saint Patti's Day) was celebrated in Bluefield Range, Belize aboard the s/v Liberty with the star "Patti" and Tom. Patti made an Irish stew for the occasion and we were asked to dress in green. Neila and Mike (sv At Last) were well prepared (glitter, decorations, stickies etc..) but Steve and I had nothing in our closets, so while in Placencia, we hunted the shops and scored big. I found a shirt for Steve and a cover-up for myself, both for the tune of 10 Belize dollars. Off to find a loaf of home-made bread for 5 Belize and from the provisions/stores on board, we dug out a few items for appetizers .. dolmadakias!
That evening we enjoyed the movie "Saving Ned Divine" and a good time was had by all.
Ps: the last time we shared an event with s/v Liberty, was New Years Eve in the San Blas Islands, Panama. This time we asked that Tom hide the Scotch!
