Docked Gilbert’s Resort & Marina

Today we just enjoyed Gilbert’s. We strolled the grounds and up to the Route 1 bridge. BTW: this is OUR Rt 1! Kind of a scary highway sign noting “crocodile crossing” FOR REAL.

Band started at noon I think, then a magician, and then another band. We had a nice table with a thatched roof by the beach and had a famous BOOBIE drink. This is a frozen 16 oz drink that is made with 5 different liquors and a floater of your choice on top. One of these is enough for an entire afternoon. Whew. They also donate to the Breast Cancer Fund for each drink sold.

Later we had dinner. I was craving a burger and Susan had a fried fresh mahi sandwich. Was so good. We also had another beautiful sunset. But, I’m not going to bore you with another sunset just yet.
